hello 2011

2010 has been quite a year.

:: recently though...this break has been gooood. reconnecting with old friends and realizing that i am getting old. i mean...i spent my new years on the couch with the second half of my brain from childhood. we drank wine and chatted about life while watching the backstreet boys and new kids in the block. and it wasn't because there wasn't anything else going on. it's because that's what we wanted to do!

:: the first day on the year has been so fun. time at the craft store and family card games. football. a walk on the beach. our traditional new years dinner and to top it all off night fishing!

:: i love fishing especially when it involves my cousins. it was an eventful night. the most fun i've had fishing in years. we saw & heard what i feel like were hundreds of dolphins. sea snakes. a surprise attack by a giant sheep head which we had no supplies for in the moment. i even caught a snook! and to top it all off a SHARK...what we think was a shark at least. i really don't see how it could be anything else. it was fun. full of laughter and good memories.

:: welcome 2011. i am charging into you head on. i have no idea what you hold but i know i am excited for whatever it is.
