strange. let's go in.

:: this is a passage that the Lord used a lot my first summer as a camp counselor. yesterday i got to see one of my favorite surprises from that summer. her name is nikki. i thought i wouldn't like her...then we got "stuck" in a bible study together and long story short: we fell in love. and let me tell you! every time i think of nikki i am filled with joy that she is in my life.

:: i'm not exactly sure how to explain my love for her but i suppose it could be summed up in a few words: hard core love for Jesus. florida natives. miley cyrus.

:: i love this girl! i didn't know many people at her graduation party yesterday but there was a strong feeling of community...something that i wasn't surprised to sense among a group of navs but boy, was it encouraging! this summer has been hard and i feel like it's been dry even though i'm learning a lot. i am starved for community. and yesterday made me really excited to get back to school and live in community with such great friends.
